I'd like to share what we did to successfully battle my mother's ovarian cancer. The doctors didn't offer great hope and threw the usual offerings of removal (operate) and chemo. We quickly learnt that the medical fraternity don't like being questioned. We knew we had to do more, and mum is living proof that you can do more using nutrition. Tino, Manly, Australia, April 2011

I have struggled with weight gain for over 10 years. At 32, I weighed 91kg and was desperate. I had tried all the diets...Everyone thought I didn't have the will power. I felt useless. A friend suggested I test for food intolerance. Once I discovered I was intolerant to 14 different foods I hit the jackpot. Thanks to your health program I lost 2kg a week for the first 3 weeks and I'm still losing 1kg a week after 12 weeks...I'm not even counting calories...just avoiding the foods that are toxic to my body. Thank you for helping us test our daughter for food intolerance. Her ADHD is a thing of the past. Dean & Marie, Austin, Texas. August 2010

Free Candida Home Test

 $0.00

The free Candida test entails a 2 part test consisting of a questionnaire and then the 'spit test'. Take a look at the information below to complete this quick home test.

Candida Questionnaire

A proper diagnosis of Candida should be made by your doctor using a variety of methods.  The reason for this is that a definitive test for diagnosis is not yet available.  Your doctor will ask about your medical history, including use of medications and antibiotics, and also your diet.  He or she may also choose to do a physical examination.  If the diagnosis is still uncertain, your doctor may culture a skin sample to identify fungus (yeast). If your doctor suspects that you have an undiagnosed medical illness that increases your risk of Candida - such as diabetes, cancer or HIV - blood tests or other procedures may be necessary and this other condition would also need to be addressed and effectively managed.

Until a definitive test is developed, it is wise to look at evidence from different sources - one of which is the Candida Questionnaire.    Also, many people have reported that their doctor does not believe in the existence of Candida other than in cancer or HIV patients. But too many people have contradicted this line of thought by deciding to go on a Candida diet despite their doctor's denial, and finding that their symptoms disappear. This questionnaire can be step one for you, should your doctor be a ‘non-believer'.

This questionnaire includes questions on various factors in your medical history that would promote the growth of Candida, as well as questions about symptoms commonly found in individuals suffering from Candida.

A high score gives an indication that you may be suffering from Candida.  Although this is an indicator of a potential problem, it is not a diagnosis and the results must be used sensibly alongside all your other information.  This is not an online test. We suggest you print it, circle your scores and keep it for future reference and to discuss with your healthcare provider.

Answer all questions.  If your answer is yes then circle the number next to the question.  If your answer is no then simply move on to the next question.  Instructions on how to interpret the results will be given at the end of the questionnaire.

Results:

If your score is:

Less than 30 - you are unlikely to have Candida. You may wish to discuss your symptoms with your health care provider.

Between 30 and 50 - it is possible that Candida could be causing some of your health problems. Your Candida would be classed as mild but must be addressed to prevent it becoming more severe.

Between 50 and 90 - it is likely that Candida is causing some of your health problems. Your Candida would be classed as moderately severe and it is essential that is addressed to prevent it becoming more severe.  You need to follow an anti-Candida diet.

Over 90 - it is almost certain that you are suffering from Candida.   Immediate action should be taken to get this serious imbalance under control to allow you to regain your health. This entails following a strict anti-Candida diet until symptoms desist. Depending on the severity of your condition and symptoms, this can take between 3 and 8 weeks.  Your local nutritionist can give you one, or you can purchase one from this website under ‘health programs'.

We do advise that you also take the ‘spit test' below to confirm results - especially if results are less definitive. The spit test, along with the questionnaire results will give you a good indication of whether you suffer from Candida or not.

The Candida Spit Test

This is a simple home test that can give an indication of whether Candida is a problem for you.  First thing in the morning, before you put anything in your mouth, fill a clear glass with room temperature bottled water.  Work up a bit of saliva, and then spit it into the glass of water. Check the water every 15 minutes or so for up to one hour. If you have a potential problem, you will see strings (like legs) traveling down into the water from the saliva floating on the top, or ‘cloudy saliva' will sink to the bottom of the glass, or ‘cloudy specks' will seem to be suspended in the water. If the strings appear immediately, this is a strong indication of the presence of Candida. If there are no strings and the saliva is still floating after at least one hour, you are unlikely to have Candida.

Please note this spit test does not always give accurate results and is just an indicator of a potential problem.  You must use the results sensibly and alongside all your other information.
